With the start of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this evening comes an array of wonderful festive holiday-themed merchandise perfect for ringing in the holidays in style. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the party-themed merch that you’ll want to be on the lookout for.
Let’s start with one of the stars of the show each season, available for purchase are these festive holiday MagicBands (pictured above) which are presented in a scented decorative box. Upon purchase, guests can link their bands to unlock all of the magic of a Disney vacation as it serves as a room key, park ticket, and will store Fastpass reservations as well as dining credits. If these bands are on your holiday wish list, act fast as they have been known to sell out quickly.
This year’s collection (as seen from the items above) features festive designs focusing on scenes that guests may recognize from the party itself. You’ll find a nice range of t-shirts for all ages and sizes as well as Christmas ornaments.
Many of the items have a vintage feel and are designed in a style reminiscent of holiday card designs from the 1960’s. The graphics mix images of wrapped gifts and Disney characters to evoke that warm nostalgic feeling of holidays past.
The retro feels can be seen throughout the new holiday line. A great example is the hooded sweatshirt (above) which features a playful dancing reindeer as seen in “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.”
Goofy and Clarabelle Cow also take center stage this year and are featured on holiday-sweater-style t-shirts and a decorative mug inspired by “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” which is held during party hours at the Castle Forecourt Stage and follows Mickey and pals as they plan an unforgettable holiday bash celebrating friendship and the spirit of the holidays.
It is also going to be another banner year for Disney collectors with limited edition pins and pin sets. Annual Passholders will also have access to exclusive apparel as well as a limited release pin.
