Attention ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! It’s Anonymouse here again and I have some important breaking news! Do you want to have a monstrous summer? Well, I have some insider information to help you make that happen! Disney will be holding a “Monstrous Summer” press event this week where they will be confirming these plans!
I already told you that Disney World may be bringing back a 24-hour event in the parks! We first experienced the 24-hour event for Leap Day 2012. Well, I’m now expecting Disney to confirm this fun event will be held on May 24, 2013 as a Limited Time Magic offer. This time, the 24-hour party will feature our favorite Monsters, James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski!
The monsters of Monsters Inc. will be inspiring lots of new changes at Disney World this summer. Magic Kingdom will be updating the popular attraction Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor to include comedy honoring the star’s alma mater. The meet and greet area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also be receiving a makeover to become Monsters University Student Union. Lastly, we are planning to see a monorail wrap promoting the upcoming film, Monsters University, which will be referred to as the “Monster-rail.”
We also told you about some possible changes that will be coming to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, including two new ships as well as some major renovations to some of the current ships. Well, there’s more changes coming to the Disney Cruise Line. Disney Cruise Line will be changing its Oceaneer’s Club by replacing the Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc experiences with a Marvel’s Avengers Academy and a Mickey Mouse Club. The Disney Magic ship will also be getting an AquaDuck water slide along with a new water play area for infants and toddlers. The Disney Magic will even add a new water slide called the Twist N’ Spout, which ‘splashes off in one direction, then loop-de-loops the opposite way.’ There will also be a new Brazilian inspired restaurant called Carioca’s on the ship. Lastly, the adults-only area will have a new After Hours theme as well as an undersea themed club called Fathoms along with a piano bar named Keys.
