‘Epic Mickey 2’ Comes to Wii U This Fall

It looks like ‘Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two’ isn’t going to be coming home this year just on PS3, Nintendo Wii, and XBox 360. Disney Interactive has announced that the highly anticipated followup will be heading to the new Nintendo Wii U as well, the newest family member of the Nintendo console line. This is Nintendo’s first HD system, so now fans will be able to experience Mickey and Oswald’s newest adventure through Wasteland in all it’s HD glory on a Nintendo system.

Bill Roper, the vice president of and general manager of Production at Disney Interactive had this to say:

“It’s exciting to bring Nintendo fans ‘Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two’ on Nintendo’s revolutionary new game system. The technological advances of the Wii U system have allowed us to enhance player direction and provide our fans with an immersive as well as unique gaming experience.”

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely excited to find out that ‘Epic Mickey 2’ is coming to the Wii U. The system is looking pretty amazing, and having this as one of its launch titles is already making me even more excited for it. I’m glad to see Nintendo is stepping into the HD territory, and I’m glad that they’ve team up with Disney interactive to have this be one of their first titles out the door.
