  1. A teacher is a teacher. Doesn’t matter whether it is home school, day care, elementary, middle, high school or college. If they teach on a regular daily basis, they are a teacher. What proof do they want that you are a teacher?

  2. While I agree that you probably do work hard to teach your children, they are, after all….YOUR CHILDREN. A teacher in a school teaches 25 or more students at a time all coming from various backgrounds with various learning abilities. Teachers and their support staff work extremely hard all day and then go home and work correcting papers, planking lessons, etc whorl trying to spend time with their own families. I think it’s great that Disney is acknowledging their hard work.

  3. I think it’s extremely sad that Disney doesn’t acknowledge homeschool families here. The idea that we are not included suggests that, perhaps, our value as educators of our children is void. Just a thought. We work hard. A different “hard” than traditional educators but we are diligently pouring into our kids ALL day EVERY day to develop their academics, their character, their life skills, etc…
