We recently let you know of a multi-year refurbishment planned for Disney’s Beach Club Resort that is already underway. The project is expected to take 20 months – finishing up in May 2016. The theme of the resort will be remaining the same with this renovation bringing a fresh and modern look to the resort.
At the time it was announced, not much information was known regarding the timeline of the refurbishment. Information has slowly been released regarding the dates certain areas of the resort will undergo remodeling.
- Guest Room Renovations will take place from 10/13/2014 to 8/22/2015
- Stormalong Bay (Waterslide and Bridge 1) will be under construction from 1/5/2015 to 2/2/2015
- Stormalong Bay (Lazy River and Bridges 3 &4) will be closed for refurbishments from 2/2/2015 to 3/3/2015
Obviously these refurbishments may play a role in your choosing to stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort so we will do our best to keep you up to date as Disney releases more information regarding closings to the hotel.
