BREAKING NEWS: Multiple sources have reported a minor monorail accident that occurred this afternoon at Walt Disney World on the express monorail track that runs from the Transportation & Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom, which passes through the Contemporary resort.

The incident happened while the monorail was being towed during a test and there were no guests on board. Therefore, no injuries have been reported, thank goodness! It seems as though the front car of the monorail crashed with the tractor when the tow hitch broke during a planned downtime at approximately 1:00pm today. There is some damage to the front end of the monorail, including a broken windshield.

All monorail service on all 3 lines is still currently down as a result. A local Orlando news team sent a helicopter to check out the situation. See the footage and their news report by clicking the link here.
