Best Disney Movies of 2013

In 2013, The Walt Disney Company has once again given us some great full-length feature films. While some soared at their movie release, others plummeted. We narrowed the choices down to 6 and asked our Chip & Co Fans: “What movie do you think was the Best Disney Movie of 2013?”

Our Chip & Co Fans have voted and the results are in…

#1 Frozen – This is hands down the Chip and Co Fan favorite and I couldn’t agree more. Not only do I listen to the Frozen soundtrack on a continuous loop in my car, I have gone to see the movie 3 times so far.

Directors – Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee
Writers – Hans Christian Andersen, Jennifer Lee, Shane Morris
Cast – Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad

#2 Saving Mr Banks – Among Chip & Co Fans, this movie comes in a close second to Disney’s Frozen, but the consensus among our Fans is that this is the BEST Disney non-animated feature film of 2013.

Director – John Lee Hancock
Writers – Kelly Marcel, Sue Smith
Cast – Emma Thompson, Tom Hanks, Annie Rose Buckley

#3 Monsters University – This movie holds steady at #3 with our Chip & Co Fans. I agree it should be rated after Frozen and Saving Mr. Banks. Do you?

Director – Dan Scanlon
Writers – Dan Scanlon, Daniel Gerson
Cast – Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi

#4 Oz the Great and Powerful – Having never seen this movie myself, only a few handfuls of Chip & Co Fans voted for this movie. I would love to know if I’m missing out. What did you think of Oz the Great and Powerful?

Director – Sam Raimi
Writers – Mitchell Kapner, David Lindsay-Abaire
Cast – James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz

#5 Lone Ranger – To die hard Lone Ranger Fans, this movie seemed to disappoint bringing it in at #5 on our countdown.

Director – Gore Verbinski
Writers – Justin Haythe, Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio
Cast – Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, William Fichtner

#6 Planes – This movie comes in a distant 6th place with only a handful of votes.

Director – Klay Hall
Writers – Jeffrey M Howard, John Lasseter
Cast – Carlos Alazraqui, Dane Cook, Stacy Keach

What order would you have put these 6 movies in?
