Fang-tastic New Disney Junior Vampirina DVD Review

We were very excited to have the opportunity to review the new Disney Junior Vampirina DVD! It was a perfect series to enjoy now that it is Halloween time. Vampirina is about a family of  friendly vampires who move from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. The show is inspired by Disney Publishing’s popular children’s book series “Vampirina Ballerina“.

The main character Vampirina, who goes by Vee is a lovable character who is helpful and kind. The family runs a “Scare B & B” which is kind of a spooky twist on a Bed and Breakfast. Like many other Disney Junior shows, like Sofia the First, and Doc McStuffins each episode features a new musical number that teaches a lesson, or realization for the characters. Our family’s favorite episode of the series is “Vee Goes Viral”, the fun dance Vee creates is fun to mimic and follow along with, so we get moving while we watch!

The DVD features four, 2 part episodes of the new series.

• Going Batty/Scare B&B
• The Sleepover/Portrait of a Vampire
• Vee’s Surprise Party/Vee Goes Viral
• The Plant Predicament/Mummy Mahem

This is a great family series with spooky elements, that won’t be too intense for toddlers or preschoolers, and was full of lots of laughs!

You can see Vamprina on Disney Junior weekdays at 7:30 pm! You can also catch the Vampirina DVD on October 17th when it flies into stores!
