Everyone’s favorite serial killer is taking a stab at a new form of media: Comics! Jeff Lindsay, the author of the bestselling ‘Dexter’ series of books, has come up with a new five issue mini series set to be published at Marvel Comics starting in February. Most are probably aware of ‘Dexter’ thanks to the highly popular Showtime series, ‘Dexter’, starring Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, a Miami forensic blood splatter expert who moonlights as a vigilante at night, killing off some of Miami’s most feared serial killers. I’m a casual fan of the show, but I do love the books the series is based on, so I’m very excited to see what Jeff Lindsay has in store in this new comic series. It’ll be really fun seeing ‘Dexter’ coming to life in a new form, and I have high expectations with Lindsay being involved with Marvel.

Series Creator Jeff Lindsay Brings Dexter to Comics for The First Time in February 2013

Marvels’ Dexter #1 marks the first time a story in the novels’ continuity has been presented in the comic book format.
