Changes coming to Celebrate the Magic and Fantasmic!

Beginning in November, “Celebrate the Magic” at Magic Kingdom Park will transform Cinderella Castle with spectacular new projection effects.

When shows begin, “Celebrate the Magic” will feature all-new music, storytelling and special effects. It’ll be a journey to the heart of the most beloved Disney stories and characters, according to show director Katy Harris.

Also will be installing an additional 1,000 seats in the Hollywood Hills Ampitheatre for the popular Fantasmic! shows. Fantasmic! is performed nightly and you can view Disney’s online calendar for specific dates and times.

  1. I love Fantasmic. I am glad they are adding more seats. Really no seat in that amphitheater is a bad one. One of the best experiences I had was sitting near the end and watching all the floats come out with their lights still off.

  2. We plan on being their in November, but it will be after Thanksgiving. The current calendar says we will likely see “Wishes” on non Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas nights and Holiday Wishes on the MVMC nights. But considiering this is a Magic Kingdom Exclusive, I would love to see them do this and since we live almost on the other side of the country, we don’t get there that often. BTW, thanks for the great blog.
