Yesterday we did some resort hopping at the Monorail resorts at Walt Disney World to check out the Christmas Decorations. The Contemporary & Grand Floridian were by the best places to spread the holiday cheer as they both smell wonderful and have some beautiful gingerbread displays you won’t want to miss.

Here is my photo tour of the Monorail resorts for Christmas.

Let’s start with the Contemporary Resort:

Next stop was the lackluster Polynesian Resort:

Finally here is the beautiful Grand Floridan:

In case you missed Lisette’s coverage of the Gingerbread Displays check it out here.

Merry Christmas!

  1. Any chance you know when the Gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian will be taken down? I am flying in in Jan 4th. Thanks!

  2. My wife and I went to the magic kingdom yesterday and we also ride the monorail to all three of the hotels, we left unimpressed! For years we saw on tv and in magazine all of the Christmas wonder at WDW and this was our 1st time to see WDW during Christmas and we were disappointed at the lack of Christmas decorations! We thought that downtown Disney (Disney Springs) was more decorated. And we also thought the Magic Kingdom was more festive during Halloween! It looks like a major cost cutting at WDW! So Sad!
