This month is all about seasonal celebrations like Halloween and Oktoberfest in the venues of the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. There is something for everyone, no matter your age or tastes!
If you love this season, there’s a good chance you also love the most popular taste of the season-pumpkin! You’ll have plenty of options to get your pumpkin fix throughout Downtown Disney. Some of these options include: a pumpkin churro from the California Churro cart, a pumpkin macaroon from Kayla’s Cakes, Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks and a pumpkin smoothie made with almond milk, pumpkin, bananas and a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg at Jamba Juice.
On Saturday Oct. 24, head to Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen from noon to 2 p.m. for a Haunted Gingerbread House Building Workshop and construct your own hauntingly sweet house. If you’re also celebrating Oktoberfest this month, be sure to experience the special Oktoberfest Celebration at Crossroads at House of Blues this Saturday Oct. 10. It’ll feature specialty menu items, a stein-hoisting competition and a pretzel eating contest. The special menu features grilled bratwurst, schnitzel, apple strudel and giant Bavarian pretzels. Uva Bar is also offering an Oktoberfest-inspired menu through the end of the month.
