Andrea Canaday's Hidden Mickey

Every Photo has a story…

Chip & Company fan Andrea Canaday from Beaufort, South Carolina, says that when you have two Star Wars fans in the family, Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a must do for them.  Andrea said, “My husband, Brian and my son, Jackson just love Star Wars and when you are only 5 hours from an event like this one, how can you not go to one of the four weekends?”

Picture this…

This Hidden Mickey photo of a Disney fire extinguisher was taken when Andrea and her family were buying Star Wars Weekend merchandise. “My whole family hunts for ‘Hidden Mickeys’ whenever we are on property and even when we are not on property.  We love to tell other guests about ‘Hidden Mickeys’ too. I took this picture when we were waiting in the que to get inside. I turned around to say something, there it was, and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of it.  You just have to have a picture of a Hidden Mickey fire extinguisher in your collection of photos! I say, who doesn’t?”

Thanks, Andrea, for sending in your Hidden Mickey photo and your story, and thank you Chip & Company fans for coming along for a photographical ride!

Brittany Monoski's Photo Encounter With Darth Vader

Every photo has a story…

In July of 2011, Chip & Company fan Brittany Monoski took her husband and three children on a trip from from Pennsylvania to Walt Disney World.  It was their second trip to Disney as a family.  Brittany said, ”Our first trip, in 2010, did not go well because my oldest child was extremely sick with a 102 fever for much of the trip.  We decided to try again in 2011, and while we originally had a trip planned for June, my husband found out that he needed emergency back surgery the day before our trip  We were devastated!  Just imagine having to cancel the day before you were supposed to leave!” Brittany said her husband’s health was most important, of course, and because his surgery went well, they were able to stay at the Boardwalk Villas about 6 weeks later in July.
Picture this…  No stranger to illness on a Disney vacation, Brittany’s oldest son, Parker,  started feeling sick when they arrived at Hollywood Studios.  Brittany relates how she took the photo, “My husband took Parker back to the hotel room.  In the meanwhile, my daughter, youngest son, and I were on our own.  We stopped to see the Jedi Training because we wanted to get a picture of Darth Vader for Parker, since one of his favorite things is Star Wars.  He just loved it!  And, the pixie dust must have been with us that day, because after a couple of hours, he felt better.  So he and my husband came back to Hollywood Studios to meet us for dinner.”

Thanks, Brittany, for sending in your photo and your story, and thank you Chip & Company fans for coming along for a photographical ride!

Amy Hallman's photo of Chip and Dale

Every photo has a story.

This great Chip and Dale statue photo was snapped by Chip & Company fan Amy Hallman of Gilbert, S.C.  Amy’s family went on a Disney Cruise aboard the Disney Dream and then stopped by Walt Disney World for a couple of days.  Amy, her husband, and their two children stayed for the first time at Bonnet Creek Resort.

Picture this…Amy said, ”We go to Disney a lot. It’s our favorite vacation spot. This trip, I really wanted to photograph the little details of Disney, things that, in the past, I would just have walked by. We slowed down this time and enjoyed the beauty of WDW.  I have to say this was our favorite Disney World trip.”

Jennifer Sorrentino's view of Epcot

Every photo has a story…

This picture of the Epcot’s Spaceship Earth was taken by Chip & Company fan Jennifer Sorrentino.  Jennifer took her niece and nephew, ages 13 and 15, on their very first vacation ever, and she chose Disney for their first trip. While there, they celebrated a couple of birthdays in-between riding Jennifer’s favorite rides, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Big Thunder Mountain.  Jennifer recommends the sushi from Wolfgang Pucks in Downtown Disney when you are looking for a fabulous dinner.  “It’s definitely the best I’ve had,” she said.

Picture this…While waiting for her husband, her niece and her nephew to finish riding the Spaceship Earth, Jennifer walked around with her 4-year-old son and snapped this photo.  Jennifer’s facebook page is 6 o’clock creations, LLC.

Thanks, Jennifer, for sending in your photo and your story, and thank you Chip & Company fans for coming along for a photographical ride!

Maleah Moskoff’s character encounter at Epcot

Every photo has a story.

This scary image was captured by Chip & Company fan Maleah Moskoff, Disney enthusiast and owner of www.chachatea.net

September of 2011 was Maleah’s first trip to WDW with just her husband and son. Maleah, a resident of Madison, WI, related the story. “We usually had gone to Disney with Grandma. We had an amazing deal at The Beach Club and EPCOT is my 7 year old’s favorite park.  Being able to walk to The World Showcase Pavilion every day was a treat.  On our way back to the room we were stopped by a glaring queen.”

When asked what the queen had to say, “Maleah said, “No words were exchanged;  just chills received!”

Thanks, Maleah, for sending in your photo and your story, and thank you for coming along for a photographical ride.
