Disney Fantasy Takes Fun to High Water Mark on 7-Night Caribbean Cruises
When the Disney Fantasy, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet launches March 31, 2012, it will be a high-water mark for family cruise vacations. This ship, Disney’s fourth, offers entertainment, activities and dining experiences purpose-planned for seven-night cruises from her maiden voyage forward.
The Fantasy fun includes:
- Two new Broadway-style musical stage shows – “Wishes” and “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” in the lavish Walt Disney Theatre
- Magical princess makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and during pirate nights, swashbuckling transformations at The Pirates League
- The Muppets are coming to the Disney Fantasy in an interactive detective adventure game using the ship’s Enchanted Art
- “Animation Magic” – a new dinner show in Animator’s Palate restaurant that brings guests’ cartoon drawings to life
- Europa – a nighttime entertainment district for adults featuring sophisticated bars and trendy lounges inspired by the very best in European travel

Just Released 2013 Itineraries for Disney Magic and Disney Wonder
At long last the announcement we’ve all been waiting for has been made! Disney Cruise Line announced its 2013 itineraries for the Magic and the Wonder.
I must say it was worth the wait and the news is very exciting! New destinations include Venice (Italy), and the Greek Isles and Miami will serve as the second Florida port.
The previously cancelled Mexican Riviera holiday cruises will be replaced by a 14-night Panama Canal Cruise.
Bookings open for Gold and Platinum Castaway Club Members on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 (phone only). Bookings open to everyone on Thursday, January 26, 2012 (online or via phone).
Disney Magic will return to Europe and offer the following:
- 4-Night Mediterranean Getaway: July 9, 2013 and August 6, 2013
- 7-Night Mediterranean Cruise: June 1, June 8, August 10, August 16, August 24 and August 31st
- 12-Night Mediterranean Cruise with Venice: June 27, July 25
- 12-Night Mediterranean Cruise with Greece: June 15, and July 13
