Disney Confidential – Pixar’s Monster Inc 2 – The College Years

Hey there guys it’s Chip filling in for Anonymouse..

So I have been following an article today that started on a foreign anime website called Animatie. I have to read this site through Google Translate but most of your Disney Pixar Animation news I get breaks here. (thanks guys!)

So they are talking today about Disney/Pixar’s Monster’s Inc 2 to possibly be a prequel to the hit blockbuster from 2001.

The prequel is set while both Mike and Sulley are in Scare College and from what I can make out they are each others closest rivals. Ultimately through a series of events they become the bosom buddies we know and love.

I don’t know that sounds to cliche for Disney. No official word has been issued from Disney and this kind of thing is something  Anonymouse would report on but I wanted to pass the word on to you as I am sure she is busy.

What do you think? Let me know in the comment section below.

Hey there guys and gals! Anonymouse here. Delivering to you the best in Disney Gossip on the net. Wow I am beside myself today. I don’t know what to do with all this attention I have been getting here lately. Thank you guys so much for sharing my Disney Gossip with all your friends!

Ok enough of that mushy stuff onto the Disney Gossip. Today I want to talk about an article I posted last week:

Disney Confidential: New Toy Story Short ‘Hawaii’ Coming to Pixar’s Cars 2

It seems Disney/Pixar is releasing a nifty little Pictureback book to go along with this short. They are calling it Play-cation! You can preorder it from Amazon right now.

Along with this new book Disney has released details on the Ken & Barbie story:

Bonnie is off to Hawaii, and Barbie and Ken are excited to go along on their first tropical vacation! But when they’re accidentally left behind, it’s up to Buzz, Woody, and the rest of the toys to create a Hawaiian paradise right in Bonnie’s room.

Based on the latest animated short featuring the toys from Disney/Pixar Toy Story, this full-color storybook includes punch-out postcards that girls and boys ages 3-7 will love sending to their friends!

An August release date is further evidence that this will be the Toy Story short attached to Cars 2 on June 24.

So what do you think. Sound like a cool idea? Let me know in the comment box below.

Well that is all the time I have for today. Keep tweeting and commenting on my Disney Confidential’s and I will continue to post more. Thank you guys so much for all your support!

New Year’s Disney “Days”

My husband and I have a long-standing New Year’s tradition that began during our college years. After a holiday week filled with shopping, family, and birthday celebrations, we’re ready to spend a quiet night in on New Year’s Eve. But really, if a quiet night in is good, two are better. Let me introduce you to the “Days.” The year-end “Days” are an embarrassing display of sloth and gluttony filled with movie-watching and junk food. A theme must first be chosen. It can be a movie genre, an actor, or a made-for-television movie series; the more creative the better. Next, actual days must be selected. Once the movies have been procured (ideally twenty hours or so of play time) and the days have been blocked out on the calendar, a trip to the grocery store is in order. Hot h’orderves are a favorite of ours along with cheese, crackers, and anything else that falls into the category of snack food. Lastly, the furniture must be rearranged for optimal lounging. Pajamas are encouraged, email is discouraged, and the phone must not be answered.

So to get your started on your own Disney “Days”, I thought I would offer up Disney film suggestions for a few different themes.
