Best Fireworks Viewing Locations In Magic Kingdom

Best Fireworks Viewing Locations In Magic Kingdom

Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at Magic Kingdom is a truly spectacular way to end your fun-filled day at Walt Disney World. Of course, the Magic Kingdom fireworks are even better if you have a great spot to view them. Many families begin searching for their perfect fireworks viewing location an hour or more before the fireworks even start. So, just where can you find these great locations to view the show?

The Tomorrowland Terrace is by far the best location to view Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. However, the only way to secure this fabulous location for the show is to attend the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. The party includes a buffet of delicious treats including pastries, cookies, and chocolate-covered strawberries, as well as hot and cold beverages. In addition to these tasty snacks, you’ll have a great view of Tinkerbell as she flies towards Tomorrowland. The Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party does require a separate party ticket.

Expanded BoardWalk Bakery Reopens at WDW today with New Treats

Expanded BoardWalk Bakery Reopens at WDW today with New Treats

Get ready for some super new taste sensations when the BoardWalk Bakery reopens bright and early this morning – 6:30 a.m. to be exact.

“The new location is twice the size of the original bakery, themed to the 1920s Jersey shore,” says John Berko, manager of food & beverage at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas. Dark wood and colorful tiles and mosaics add a new brightness to the space.

Beyond sweets, the new menu includes hot breakfast items, salads and sandwiches – like a Maine lobster roll and a pork loin sandwich with creamy apple slaw.

But it’s the sweets that get the most attention, and plenty of favorites are back, including chocolate croissants, cupcakes and cinnamon. Newcomers include eclairs, cannoli, salted caramel ganache and an amazing peanut butter-banana-candied Nueske’s bacon pie. We begged for the recipe, and already made this one at home. There’s not a morsel left.

First Three Park All Nighter Kicks Off Monstrous Summer at the WDW and Disneyland Resorts

Just seconds ago, a 180-foot-tall Mike Wazowski from the upcoming Disney●Pixar film “Monsters University”made the official announcement that Disney is keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours on Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional start of the family travel season, to kick off a Monstrous Summer on both coasts. Wazowski, the loveable green-bodied, one-eyed monster, joins best pal James P. Sullivan (“Sulley”) in the prequel to “Monsters, Inc.”, this summer as college students with hopes of becoming Scarers.

Our first-ever, three-park all-night party is happening at the Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park in California. The parks will stay open from 6 a.m., May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time.
