Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel Finishes Swan Guest Room Redesign

The largest makeover in the history of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel is one step closer to being finished. The hotel has completed redesigning every guest room in the 758-room Swan Hotel. The work is part of a multi-phase, multi-year, $125 million redesign project that will transform every guest room in both the Swan and Dolphin buildings. Jedi Training Academy will Soon Close and Reopen as “Jedi Training – Trials of the Temple”

The Jedi Training Academy will shut down on Oct 4, 2015. It will reopen later this year as the "Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple". No reopening date was given yet. It will have an all new set and new characters. The new show is supposed to continue to be on the stage next to Star Tours. Waterfront cabins coming to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Disney Vacation Club confirmed today that they will be expanding the Wilderness Lodge units with new waterfront cabins (similar to the Polynesian Resort). Earlier this year they submitted the plans to build 26 waterfront cabins but would not confirm if they would be timeshare units, until now.Also plans were filed for a guest boardwalk, new bar/grill, and expanded pool area! The Incredible Hulk Coaster is closing for some major enhancements and refurbishment work this Fall. This is one announcement that has me very upset and happy all at the same time.
