Here’s a lavishly well done article all about Walt Disney and Disneyland. This article is from the August 1963 Edition of National Geographic. There is a much smaller article from the October 1962 Edition.
This article is HUGE, 50 pages! Including a three page fold out map of the park. And on the reverse side a nice three page panorama shot of the Rivers of America.

Tim Burton & family visit Disneyland
Alice In Wonderland director Tim Burton, his actress/wife Helena Bonham Carter, and the couple’s two kids were spotted Thursday at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The family enjoyed a late summer day on the park’s rides, including the Matterhorn, Autopia and yes, Alice In Wonderland.
The upcoming film, which reunited the Edward Scissorhands director with Johnny Depp (playing The Mad Hatter), hits theaters March 5, 2010.
Want to eat Hannah Montana cherries?
A lot of people are wondering tonight if this is really true.
With Disney said to be planning on introducing an elaborate line of “healthy food items” to encourage responsible eating habits among youth, Disney is reportedly supplementing their “High School Musical Avocados” with Hannah Montana cherries.
As one cynical perspective offered, if this is really true, Disney is basically offering “red, ripe cherries from the 16-year-old who just did a pole dance on an ice cream cart.”
This might not be the smartest of marketing plans for Disney.
In fact, someone may want to call Chris Hansen from NBC’s “To Catch a Predator.”
If you find it disturbing that Disney would actually release a product – if they really are – called “Hannah Montana Cherries” please leave your thoughts or comments below… after you’ve finished vomiting.
