Disney California Adventure opening New Smokejumpers Grill

Disneyland Closing Innoventions!

A Disneyland spokesperson announced on Friday, that Disneyland’s Innoventions attraction would be closing on March 31.With this announcement, the rumors and speculations are flying all over as to the possibilities of a Star Wars themed attraction taking the place of Innoventions.  John McClintock, a Disneyland spokesman, shared the parks make modifications and upgrades throughout the Disneyland Resort to continue to offer guests "new magic" but did not go further in commenting as to what … [Read more...]

Disneyland Memorabilia sells for $1.7 Million

An anonymous Disneyland memorabilia collector placed a huge inventory on display at the Van Eaton Galleries in Sherman Oaks, California last month for viewing before this weekend's auction.   Close to 1,000 items were sold on Saturday, Feb. 28th and Sunday, March 1st,  bringing in $1.7 million from bids around the world.Sold for $153,400 and posted as the top seller was the 1970s animatronic Green Tiki Room bird.  While one of my favorites, 1967 Pirates of the Caribbean skeleton, holding a … [Read more...]

Fire at Disneyland Near It’s a Small World

Last night, a fire engulfed a tree near Disneyland's iconic "It's a Small World" attraction.The tree was located near the behind-the-screens area of "It's a Small World" and is thought to be caused from the nightly fireworks. No one was injured and "It's a Small World" suffered no damage.This is the second time in recent months for a fire to break out during Disney fireworks. Confirmed: Disney Raises Ticket Prices

Anonymouse is right once again.  In January she warned us about ticket prices going up at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.   Inside sources have now confirmed the probability of an increase during the month of February.Based on the information, a 1-day base ticket for the Magic Kingdom will be priced at $105.00 (plus tax), with Hollywood Studios, Epcot, or Animal Kingdom at $99.00 (plus tax).
