Disney Channel Original Movie FRENEMIES coming in Jan 2012
Bella Thorne and Zendaya (both of “Shake It Up”), Stefanie Scott (“A.N.T. Farm”), Nick Robinson (“Melissa and Joey“) and Mary Mouser (“Body of Proof”) star in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Frenemies,” an anthology that follows three pairs of friends as they navigate the delicate balance when besties go to worsties, and back again. With themes of staying true to yourself, celebrating family and friendship, and following your dreams, the movie is set to premiere on FRIDAY, JANUARY 13 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
“Frenemies” follows the lives of three very different sets of friends dealing with the ups and downs of friendship. The first story follows Halley and Avalon, best friends who are overjoyed when a publisher wants to turn their fashion blog into a magazine, but their friendship is put to the test when they learn that the magazine only wants one of them to stay on as senior editor. The second story follows the inseparable science-whiz Jake and his dog, Murray. Jake is excited to introduce Murray to his new science project partner (and crush), Julianne, but there’s something about her that Murray just doesn’t like – and the feeling is mutual. In the last story, tomboy Savannah, who comes from a large high-energy family, meets privileged uptown girl Emma, who looks like her twin. The two girls become fast friends and decide to trade places for a while, but realize that life on the other side isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.
Beginning Friday, December 15, visitors to DisneyChannel.com will get to meet the “Frenemies” characters and play a three-part mini-game dedicated to the different storylines in the movie.
The multiplatform premiere schedule is as follows:

“Frenemies” exclusive preview available via Disney Channel On Demand, a video-on-demand service available to a variety of affiliates including AT&T U-Verse, Cablevision, Time Warner and Verizon FiOS TV customers.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 13
The premiere of “Frenemies” (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel with simulcasts on Sprint TV and MobiTV.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 17
“Frenemies” will be available on iTunes and Xbox Live.
“Frenemies” was directed by Daisy Mayer (“The Guru”), executive produced by Leslie Morgenstein and Bob Levy (both of “The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl”) and written by Dava Savel (“That’s So Raven,” “Sonny with a Chance”), Wendy Weiner (“The Scientist”) and Jim Krieg (“Den Brother,” “Ben 10″). Filmed on location in Toronto, Canada, “Frenemies” is a production of Alloy Entertainment and Coin Flip Productions Ltd.
Starring are Bella Thorne and Zendaya as Avalon Greene and Halley Brandon, Mary Mouser as Savannah and Emma, Nick Robinson as Jake Logan, Stefanie Scott as Julianne, and Winston as Murray the Dog.

Washington, D.C. (November 15, 2011) – Today, the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation announced that television and radio personality Carson Daly will host the 201 1 National Christmas Tree Lighting. In addition, the platinum selling band OneRepublic will perform along with country music star Rodney Atkins and six-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Marsha Ambrosius. The evening will also feature a special appearance by Kermit the Frog, star of The Muppets, along with several other special guests. Additional performers and special guests for the event will be announced shortly.
The 2011 National Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2011 on the Ellipse at President’s Park in Washington, D.C. The ceremony will usher in the holiday season in our nation’s capital and can be viewed LIVE online at www.thenationaltree.org beginning at 4:30pm ET with the exclusive National Christmas Tree Lighting pre-show. The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony marks the opening of the four-week event sponsored by the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s National Parks.

Orlando, FL – November 29, 2011 - WDW After Dark, the video webcast like no other, launches their second season to a growing worldwide fan base. Since its debut January 14, 2011 the program has garnered over 262,000 viewing minutes from Disney fans across the globe via vidcast hostLivestream.com.
The show marks the return of the broadcast team of Jeff Davis, Kristen Hoetzel and Aljon Go who have been on hiatus since mid-October for their Sorcerer Radio Network 10th Anniversary Fall Event at Walt Disney World. “We decided as a team to take a much needed break. After doing over 33 shows since January we will be back and ready to rock,” says co-host Aljon Go. The show is much different from your typical live Disney fan-based vidcast integrating interactive elements, live callers, guest interviews, multi-location feeds, round table discussions, funny video countdowns featuring Disney fans and candid discussion about the Disney company. The show has been described as a cross between “Attack of the Show” meets “The Howard Stern Show” with mouse ears and is best suited to adult viewers. ABC Family’s ‘Desperately Seeking Santa’ to Premiere November 27th
A steely marketing executive gets more than she bargained for when her “Sexy Santa” contest winner turns out to be more than just a handsome face in the ABC Family original movie premiere of “Desperately Seeking Santa,” on Sunday, November 27 (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT). Starring Laura Vandervoort (“V,” “Smallville”) and Nick Zano (“2 Broke Girls,” “The Final Destination”), this romantic holiday movie airs as part of the “Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas” programming event.
Desperately Seeking Santa” follows Jennifer Walker (Vandervoort), an ambitious young marketing executive for the South Boston mall. With her eye on a promotion to vice president and a spot at corporate headquarters, Jennifer dreams up a plan to increase sales: a search for the hottest Santa in town. Teenage girls and their moms, even the local news anchor, flock to the mall to catch a glimpse of the handsome competitors. Before the contest even starts, Jennifer clashes with one of the contestants, David Moretti (Zano), an attractive South Boston native looking to win the $10,000 prize in a last ditch effort to save his family restaurant. David easily wins over the crowd with his good looks, sincere attitude and humble nature, and when the gorgeous winner of the contest becomes a local hero, sales at the mall go through the roof. Jennifer had counted on this new Santa to get her a promotion – not win her heart, complicate her life and question everything she ever wanted.
Desperately Seeking Santa” is executive produced by Jesse Prupas, Joel S. Rice and Irene Dreayer. The movie was directed by Craig Pryce and written by Michael J. Murray.
ABC Family’s annual programming event, “Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas,” kicks off Sunday, November 20 with “Holiday in Handcuffs” (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT), the network’s highest rated telecast of all time. During the movie broadcast, viewers will get an exclusive 60-second sneak peek of the new “25 Days of Christmas” music video performed by triple platinum artists, The Band Perry. The entire video will be available immediately afterward online at ABCFamily.com/25Days. “Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas,” which takes place from November 20 – 30, will also feature the television premiere of “The Search for Santa Paws” on Monday, November 21 (9:00 – 11:00 PM ET/PT).
