Disney Announces ‘Castle: The Complete Fourth Season’ Will Hit DVD September 11, 2012
One of my favorite shows over the last few years has been ABC’s Castle. Starring Nathan Fillion, who I’ve been a fan of since Joss Whedon’s sadly short lived ‘Firefly’, the show follows his Novelist character Richard Castle as he shadows Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic), who his newest character Nikki Heat is based on. This show has continued to be one of my favorite mystery shows on television, and season four has been my favorite of the series. So I have to say, I’m very excited that Disney has announced today that ‘Castle: The Complete Fourth Season’ will be arriving on DVD on September 11, 2012. I’m very, very excited to get my hands on the next season and relive the season from it’s action packed first episode to the shocking season finale. I’m definitely looking forward to adding it to my collection. The first season will retail for $45.99. Anyone else excited for season four? Hit the jump for the press release.
CASTLE: The Complete Fourth Season
Television’s most unlikely crime-fighting team is back and their relationship is stronger than ever! Disney Announces ABC’s ‘Revenge’ is Coming to DVD August 21, 2012
One of ABC’s biggest breakouts this year was the new drama, ‘Revenge’. I’ve heard nothing but great things so far about it, and it is really growing a huge fan base that most shows take time to garner. The word of mouth alone has had me intrigued, and now it looks like I’ll get a chance to play catch up when Disney releases ‘Revenge: The Complete First Season’ on DVD on August 21, 2012. The show revolves the harrowing journey of Emily Thorne, who is on a quest for revenge against the people in the Hamptons who destroyed her life years before. The plot alone has me quite intrigued, so I’m very excited to see down and see how it plays out. I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes on this one. The first season will run at about $45.99, and comes with quite a few bonus features to boot. Fans of the show will love it. Are you a fan of the series? The ‘Desperate Housewives’ Come Home One Last Time on September 25, 2012
Fans of ABC’s ‘Desperate Housewives’ are in a very bittersweet place right now. Their favorite ladies from Wisteria Lane are finally leaving the airwaves this Sunday night, but fear not fans, it won’t be the last time you see them. Disney announced today that ‘Desperate Housewives: The Complete Eight and Final Season’ will be hitting shelves on August 12, 2012. For fans of the series, this is great news, because they’ll get to relive the final episodes of Susan, Lynette, Bree, and Gabrielle over and over again. This Disney Channel Original Movie will be sure to have your kids dancing and singing along with it’s amazing soundtrack featuring hip hop, rap and gospel music.
This movie is a celebration of friendship and family that takes place in Atlanta, Georgia. The Main character, Cyrus DeBarge (Tyler James Williams) is best friends with Kris McDuffy (Trevor Jackson), these two both get back together with a child hood friend who has become a teen singing sensation: Roxanne “Roxie” Andrews (Coco Jones). Roxanne’s music label is sponsoring a songwriting contest at a teen club and the movie showcases the drama that unfolds when friends try to take credit for another’s talent, a love triangle exists and a self-doubter has to step up and gain some confidence in order to reveal his true ability to pursue his dreams through music.
“Let It Shine” is directed by two-time DGA award winner Paul Hoen , ( “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” “JONAS”) and is written by Eric Daniel and Don D. Scott (“Barbershop,” “Barbershop 2: Back in Business”)
The dance moves in the movie are all choreographed by Danny Teeson from American Idol.
My kids have seen the previews for this movie that the Disney Channel is currently running and are already excited for the release.
Once you have seen the movie and your kids are begging to own their own copy then mark your calendars for August 7th when
“LET IT SHINE: EXTENDED EDITION” will be out on DVD with Digital Copy.
