New Alex Russo Tween collection available at Target
Disney and Target have launched a new installment of D-Signed, the popular fashion line for tween girls. The new collection is based on fashions worn by the Disney Channel character Alex Russo (played by actress Selena Gomez) on the series The Wizards of Waverly Place. The collection is available for tween girls sizes 4 to 16.
Ranging from $4.99 – $24.99, this fun Alex Russo line features boho chic styles as well as popular military looks. All the apparel and accessories can be mixed and matched to create unique looks that will satisfy every young fashionist.

Disney Publishing Launches New App Featuring Pixar’s Cars
Disney Publishing recently announced the release of the original Cars Lightning Was Here: My Puzzle Book App available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The Cars Lightning Was Here app is Disney Publishing’s ninth children’s book app available on the App Store.
Children can now go on a tour of Radiator Springs in this original Cars Puzzle Book app! From Flo’s V8 Café, to Mater’s Tow Yard, to Doc’s garage, children can get an inside look at all the places their favorite Cars characters call home, and complete fun and challenging puzzles along the way.
Features of the app include:
- Vibrant illustrations, professional narration, authentic sound effects, and engaging background music based on Disney/Pixar’s Cars.
- Parents can record their own voice or their child’s reading the story.
- Three reading modes to suit your mood: Read to Me, Use My Recording, and Auto Turn pages.

New Era TRON: Legacy Caps
In anticipation of the December 17th, 2010 release of “TRON: Legacy,” New Era has partnered with Disney to create a series of one-of-a-kind, visually stunning caps, featuring glow-in-the-dark graphics and detailed images. Disney Consumer Products (DCP) today announced its collaboration with electronics powerhouse, Monster Cable, and specialty toy maker, Medicom Toy, for new Daft Punk-inspired TRON: LEGACY electronics and toys. The Grammy Award-winning musical duo Daft Punk have composed the much-anticipated soundtrack — released Tuesday, December 7 from Walt Disney Records — for Walt Disney Picture’s TRON: LEGACY, opening nationwide December 17, 2010 in Disney Digital 3D™.
The stylish and specially lighted Daft Punk Edition TRON headphones by Monster, a leader in manufacturing and design of high-performance headphones and A/V accessories, are designed as the ultimate headphones for gaming, music and home cinema and will be released beginning today at major electronics retailers with a special surround-sound mix of the TRON: LEGACY original motion picture soundtrack.
