Mouse Gear: Your Disney Shopping Headquarters at Epcot
By far, my favorite shop in all of Epcot and arguably all of the Walt Disney World parks is Mouse Gear. It is the largest shop in Epcot and really I find myself wanting to skip Downtown Disney when I am staying in the Epcot Resort Area since you can find a little bit of everything here! My favorite Mouse Gear story came this Fall when I decided to grab two vinylmations: Star Wars (hoping for Darth Vader) and Pirates (hoping for Captain Jack) and as luck and Disney magic would have it I scored both! 
Without the Hollywood Boulevard or Main Street shop set up this is vital to Epcot and worth a trip of its own! The store is set up in sections as you wind your way through. You will find:
- All kinds of toys for kids of all ages
- Disney World Souvenirs (including dated)
- Apparel for the entire family (including a large ear hat section)
- Disney Trading Pins & Vinylmation
- Candy, Snacks, and novelty foods
- Picture frames and Collectibles
- Seasonal merchandise
- Epcot themed merchandise and apparel
- Cookware and Kitchenware
- And much more!
While the areas change and don’t always have the largest selection on property you will find this is an Epcot one stop shop! There are also great ways to save here:

- During busy times it has been reported that quick service dining receipts have also featured 10% off coupons
With so many specialty shops in the World Showcase, Land, Seas, and Imagination pavilions this is a great stop for a less crowded store with lots of selection!
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings Expands with New 2012 Collections from Alfred Angelo and Kate Aspen
Kate Aspen, the leading designer and manufacturer of uniquely beautiful wedding favors, announced today the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings favor and gift collection in collaboration with Disney Consumer Products.
Inspired by the style, grace and elegance of the Disney Princess characters and their magical stories, the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Kate Aspen favor and gift collection features 10 timeless designs. We need your votes! Final Jane By Design Style Challenge
I hope you all had a chance to watch the premier of ABC Family’s all new TV series “Jane By Design.” I had a great time watching it and can’t wait to tune in each Tuesday! The premier was a special night, I had to pay close attention to the television during the episode to take note on what everyone was wearing! Here is the challenge:
“Show me that you can become a trusted fashion source for masses of people who have less style than I do. Choose one person you have observed and write a “get the look” entry on your blog. Tell your readers to share their “get the look” tips here and mention the name of your blog.”
Since the show is called “Jane By Design” I chose none other than Jane Quimby herself to study! She is such a fun character with a very feminine sense of style! If you liked the outfits Jane wore tonight on Jane By Design, they are really easy and affordable to recreate. I searched Forever 21 and found several pieces that were very similar to the ones Jane wore!
The running theme I noticed in Jane’s wardrobe is a very feminine feel. She seemed to always be wearing a skirt, sometimes fitted and sometimes flowey. She often wore her outfits belted which gives the body a very feminine shape. The color palate seemed to sport bold colors and I also noticed bold patterns! I think the looks above replicate outfits that would be in Jane’s closet very well!
