New Disney Dooney & Bourke Collection Coming to Tren-D at WDW
The merchandise special events team will host a Dooney & Bourke release, along with a signing opportunity with Ian Ray, has been added to the calendar of events for May 2013!
Take a look at the new Dooney & Bourke Mickey Rainbow Letter Collection on four black silhouettes, including a large Pocket Tote ($295), Satchel ($195), Pocket Satchel ($260), and Tablet Sleeve ($90), which will be available as part of the release.
Rubber Duck Charity Race at Disneyland
Hundreds of rubber ducks raced around the world for a cause at the 5th annual “it’s a small world” duck race! Cast members sponsored and decorated the ducks to raise more than $1,800 for Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire before Disneyland park opened.
The cast fundraiser carries forward the attraction’s legacy of supporting children, dating back to the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair when it was created in honor of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

New Adventurers Outpost Opens Today at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have a new home base at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Adventurers Outpost opens today on Discovery Island, and it’s the exploration headquarters for everyone’s favorite globetrotting duo, where they get together with friends old and new.Step inside Adventurers Outpost, and you’ll find mementos from Mickey and Minnie’s expeditions around the world, including stunning photographs from their trips to destinations as varied as the mountains of Nepal and the savannas of Africa.
A New Burger at ESPN Club on Disney’s BoardWalk at Disney World Resort
There’s the Cuban, the lobster, the California Burger . . . and Chef Dan at ESPN Club on Disney’s BoardWalk can’t help but keep inventing new “extreme” burgers-more a meal than a sandwich. One of the newest is the PB&J Burger, a stack that starts with creamy peanut butter on a Kaiser roll and builds with an Angus Burger, bacon, pickled jalapeños and a generous slather of house-made blackberry.
His latest is the Farmhouse Burger, beginning with potato pancakes instead of bread, then everything for a big breakfast is included: a fried egg, sausage, oven-roasted tomatoes, arugula – and an Angus Burger, of course.

Your Ticket to the 13 Reflections of Evil Trading Event at the Walt Disney World Resort
You can almost feel a chill in the air (brrr!) as the date to register for this year’s 13 Reflections of Evil trading event draws near. Whether you are a nefarious evil-doer, a sorcerer of courage, or an imaginative purple dragon, you are sure to enjoy the spellbinding thrills, chills and all-around frightful fun during the 13 Reflections of Evil trading event taking place September 13-15, 2013 in World ShowPlace at Epcot.
A couple weeks ago Disney gave you a sneak peek at some of the pins and Vinylmation debuting at this year’s event. What else can you expect to find? Event logo tees, a baseball hat, D-Tech phone cases, individual pins, jumbo pins, pin sets, original and limited edition artwork, sculptures, Vinylmation (even a few custom pieces), as well as a “lucky” ear hat.
Of course, They couldn’t go on without showing you Disney Design Group Artist Michael Sullivan’s favorite…the storybook pin set.
