Disney Food Confession – Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake

Where to find it: Starring Rolls Cafe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
What is it? A chocolate cupcake with peanut butter filling, peanut butter icing, and chocolate shavings.
Why you want it: It is moist chocolate cake with peanut butter icing that is not too sweet, big enough to share, and a great use of a snack credit. It also keeps really well so if you have a refrigerator in your room you can enjoy your leftover cupcake later in the week or like me, when you get home from vacation.
Disney Food Confession – Vegetable Potato Strudel

Where to find it: Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot
What is it? A phyllo pastry with mashed potatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, squash, carrots, and red peppers. It is accompanied by a tomato compote with basil oil.
Why you want it: This is a new addition to the menu at Coral Reef and a welcome one in my option. Our server said it had been getting great reviews and it gets another one from me. I wasn’t a fan of the tomato compote but overall the flavors worked well together and it is one of my new favorite vegetarian options at Disney.

Disney Food Confession: Cannolo Al Cioccolato
Where To Find It: At the Italy Kiosk during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
What is it? The Cannolo Al Cioccolato is a really great tasting chocolate covered cannoli with sweet ricotta cheese, chocolate, and candied fruit. Truth be told, I didn’t taste the candied fruit very much, if at all.
Why You Want It: This was, hands down, my favorite dessert, and my daughter Sophie and I really enjoyed sharing this, although the size of it is kind of small, so I would get one for each person next time. At $3.50 (and snack credit eligible), this is a good snack to try out!

Disney Food Confession: Coq au Vin
Where To Find It: At the France Kiosk during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
What is it? Coq au Vin sur gratin de macaroni is a terrific dish of red-wine braised chicken, mushrooms, pearl onions, and macaroni gratin with rich flavors and an incredible taste.
Why You Want It: Because the size of this dish is actually quite nice, you can get it as a snack option on the Disney Dining Plan, and if you are paying cash, it is worth it at $4.95!

Disney Food Confession: Creme Brulee
Where To Find It: At the France Kiosk during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
What is it? Creme Brulee au Chocolate au Lait is a nice desert. In English the title translates to “Chocolate Milk Creme Brulee topped with Caramelized Sugar”
Why You Want It: My niece and wife loved the Creme Brulee, for me, my favorite part of it was the caramelized sugar, the rest really wasn’t very sweet in my book. However, it was smooth and creamy, and at $3.95, worth it for a snack to try out (and you can use your snack credits for it as well!)
