Top Eats – What’s your Top Hollywood Studios Casual Dining Restaurants?

Top Eats Whats your Top Hollywood Studios Casual Dining Restaurants?

I often get asked whats my favorite meal at Walt Disney World Resort. After receiving that question I then ask What kinda of meal are you referring to..Casual, Character, Quick Service… As I have a list for just about every category at Walt Disney World..

Today I discuss Hollywood Studios Casual Dining Restaurants:

How do I define a Disneyworld Casual Dining Meal? I look at it as something more that just walking up and ordering your food and eating. Most times I look at a Casual Meal as maybe a buffet or where you actually can sit down and enjoy the meal or the atmosphere of the restaurant.

I am not saying that Quick Service counters don’t have atmosphere I am just saying that a Casual Service Meal is a step up in quality of food.

Here is my Top 3 Hollywood Studios Casual Dining Restaurants..

3. Hollywood & Vine – I love coming here for Breaskfast! When we plan our Disney Vacations we make sure to visit the Magic Kingdom Last and usually pick Hollywood Studios as our starting point for our vacation. While Starring Rolls is great for breakfast later in the week I usually pick Hollywood & Vine so my little one can see the Little Einsteins! Most times it is very quiet in there since I like to pick a meal just before the rope drops. Just a good breakfast buffet with all your Disney Favorites.

2. 50′s Prime Time Café -I love the atmosphere in there. The old 50′s look and feel is great. Serving up some of the best classic American Meals. If you come in here hungry you will leave happy and satisfied. The waitresses here are very friendly and attentive(wink wink). Be sure to ask for a TV Table when you get there so you can enjoy a classic TV show with your meal!

1. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater – One of my favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World! I love watching the old B Movie trailers on the big screen. Sitting in the old convertibles and sipping on a milkshake while you wait on your delicious meal is a perfect Disney moment. I love the HUGE cheeseburgers here and for me its one of the best in all of Walt Disney World. Be sure to make your Advanced Dining Reservation early as this place is ALWAYS packed.

Walt Disney World – Frontierland Turkey Leg

Walt Disney World Frontierland Turkey Leg

What is it about a turkey leg that drives the Disney Foodies crazy? Is it the carnivore spirit in all of us that just loves these delicious portable meals on a stick (of sorts). Is it the smokey goodness that is injected in this delicious treat?

Whatever it may be it seems everyone is crazy over this meaty treat.

The Top 10 Best Restaurants at Disneyland

The Top 10 Best Restaurants at Disneyland

About.com writer shares with us his Top 10 Best Restaurants at Disneyland:

When he launched Disneyland in 1955, Walt Disney forever changed the experience of going to an amusement park. Through the years, Disneyland has morphed into a destination resort with two parks, hotels, a shopping district–and loads of places to dine. Many Disneyland visitors, however, stick with the same nondescript fast food typically found at traditional amusement parks. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. But they are missing out on some wonderful restaurants at the California resort and a chance to make their visits and vacations more memorable.

There are many great places to eat, so it’s difficult to determine the top 10 best restaurants at Disneyland. That’s why I turned to some of the most popular and respected travel journalists covering the California theme park resort for some help. I asked them to pick ten of their favorite Disney table-service restaurants. I then threw their choices into a Cuisinart, poured them through a colander, ranked the results, and developed the top-10 list.

Good Eats – Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Good Eats Sanaa at Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge

Sanaa Restaurant serves African cuisine with Indian flavors for lunch and dinner at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas — Kidani Village in Walt Disney World Resort. Just as its name — in Swahili — means “work of art,” Sanaa offers its Guests beautifully prepared food in an artistic atmosphere.

I love the fusion between African and Indian food here. If you are a fan like me of Indian Cuisine then this restaurant will be right up your alley. If you have never tried Indian food before then this would be the prefect location to try it for the very first time as you know Disney excellence in cooking.

Not only is the food good here the atmosphere is phenomenal! The restaurant overlooks a Savannah and you might get an audience of Giraffes, Zebras, or Ostriches for your meal. Very cool!

Come check it out you will be glad you did, and as always be sure make your Advanced Dining Reservation.
