Miles Morales Will Finally Meet His Destiny in ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ #4
It looks like Miles Morales, the new Spider-Man following the death of Peter Parker in Ultimate Spider-Man, will finally meet his new destiny in Ultimate Spider-Man #4. This really has been an exciting new take on the character, and I really like Miles as a character, because he’s so different then Peter and brought something new to this series. I’ve been religiously reading this series since it began, and Brian Michael Bendis absolutely understands and loves the Spider-Man, and I’m glad he’s made Miles part of that lore. Description of New York Comic Con ‘Avengers’ Footage
This weekend at New York Comic Con, Marvel brought some new footage for next year’s highly anticipated film, ‘The Avengers’. The footage was different, at least mostly, from the footage shown at D23, and should be considered spoilers for anyone wanting to go into the film as blind as possible. Marvel Relaunches ‘Ultimate’ Comic Line With Great Success
Marvel Comics recently relaunched their Ultimate line, making it easier for new readers to jump in with their favorite heroes. The beginning stems from the recent ‘Death of Spider-Man’ arc that traveled quickly across the news over the past few months. Fans can now get to know their new Spider-Mar, Miles Morales, a hero for the new generation. I’ve been a big fan of the Ultimates line since it started, and I can say that new fans and old fans alike can jump into these new series without feeling overwhelmed by things like continuity. They have really revitalized the Ultimates line, and I highly recommend them. This has given Marvel a great sales boost and is something that should you should definitely check out. Confirmed: Patty Jenkins Will Direct ‘Thor 2′
Briefly: A few weeks ago, I ran a story that director Patty Jenkins was in talks with Marvel Studios to direct their upcoming sequel ‘Thor 2′. Well, it looks like that rumor turned out to be true. Patty Jenkins has officially signed on to the sequel, which will see the return of Chris Hemsworth as Thor, the God of Thunder, as well as Tom Hiddleston as his brother Loki. This is great news for fans, and I can’t wait to see what she does with the film. ‘Thor 2′ is scheduled to be released November 15, 2013.

‘Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ Vol. 3 & 4 Coming Out October 25th
Fans of Disney XD’s ‘Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’, rejoice! Disney is finally releasing the second half of the first season, volumes 3and 4 of the series on DVD on October 25. Featuring the final thirteen episodes of the first season, fans can relive the adventures of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and the Incredible Hulk, among many others, as they fight to save the planet from villains like Loki and Kang the Conqueror! This is one of the best animated series on TV in my book, and one of the best superhero shows since ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ from the 90′s. These are definitely a worth addition to anyone’s collection who loves Marvel and animated shows. Definitely give this one a look.
