Disney Mobile and Disney Consumer Products (DCP) today announced the first line of merchandise based on Disney’s hit mobile game, “Where’s My Water?”. The new line extends the story of Swampy the Alligator, Disney’s first original character for mobile, and includes an impressive line-up of licensees and retailers including, Hasbro, Inc., JAKKS Pacific/CDI, and Toys”R”Us. The “Where’s My Water?” merchandise line also features Cranky, Swampy’s reluctant friend and the alpha-male of the group, and Allie, the female alligator who humors Swampy’s attempts to bring human culture to alligators.
Designed to resonate with fans of the popular game, the first wave of “Where’s My Water?” product will be available at mass retailers nationwide in June, with select items available now at Disney Store locations and DisneyStore.com. The line features: plush and novelty toys, consumer electronics accessories, and apparel and accessories. The second wave of product coming this fall will expand to include a face-to-face game, consumer electronics, stationery, home accessories, and Halloween costumes.

DisneyBaby.com, a new online destination and product showcase for expectant and new parents is offering proud parents, family members and friends the opportunity to enter their favorite little character into the DisneyBaby.com “Little Character Contest.” The grand prize winner will be awarded a variety of once-in-a-lifetime prizes, including a ‘crawl on’ role for Baby on ABC Family’s upcoming original comedy “Baby Daddy,” Baby’s photo featured in a Disney Baby ad in a national baby magazine, $10,000 towards Baby’s education and a VIP trip to attend the grand opening of the first Disney Baby store at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, Calif.
To enter the contest, guests can upload their favorite photos of Baby onto the site using Disney BabyMagical Moments, an easy-to-use tool that allows guests to add their favorite baby photos and memories to a dynamic collection of shared family experiences.
“Baby Daddy” is a half-hour original comedy series about Ben who, in his 20s, becomes a surprise dad to a baby girl when she’s left on his doorstep by an ex-girlfriend. Ben decides to raise the baby with the help of his mother Bonnie, his brother Danny, his best buddy Tucker and his close female friend, Riley, who is harboring a secret crush on him. “Baby Daddy” will makes it world premiere on Wednesday, June 20 at 8:30pm ET/PT on ABC Family.
Entry Phase: From May 15 to June 18, guests across the country can enter a photo of a magical moment with Baby (newborn – age 2) into the contest by visiting DisneyBaby.com/Magical-Moments. Guests can enter an unlimited number of eligible photos during the contest entry period. Each week, one winner will be selected as a finalist by the Disney Baby team. The five weekly finalists will each receive a deluxe Disney Baby gift basket, along with a case of Huggies brand diapers featuring Disney characters.
Fan Favorite: Guests who enter the weekly contests will also automatically be entered into the fan favorite contest. The lucky guest whose little character receives the most votes during the entry phase of May 15 to June 18 will win a family-friendly Luxury Included® Caribbean Vacation provided by Beaches Resorts, a one-year supply of Huggies brand diapers and a deluxe Disney Baby gift basket.
Voting Phase and Sweepstakes: From June 28 to July 19, the five weekly finalists will have their entries showcased on the site for the public to vote for their favorite little character. “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two” returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions. But for the first time, Mickey and Oswald will join forces as true partners – Mickey with his magical paint brush that allows him to wield paint and thinner, and Oswald with his powerful remote control that allows him to command electricity.
In “Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure,” players will take on the role of an apprentice to the Fairy Godmother and will accidentally set off a series of events that cause friendly Sprites to transform into mischievous Imps. The evil Imps make their way into the worlds of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle and Tiana, and players must pursue the Imps into each Princess kingdom to prevent them from causing any harm. With the use of their magic wand, they’ll need to turn the Imps back into their original Sprite form, and return them to their rightful home in the Magical Kingdom.
Disney Interactive Media Group announced today that “Brave: The Video Game” is currently in development for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Wii™ system from Nintendo, Nintendo DS™ handheld system and Windows PC/ MAC. Inspired by “Brave,” the upcoming Disney•Pixar animated fantasy adventure movie, the video game invites players to run, jump and battle their way through the rugged landscape of mythical and mysterious Scotland. By using their wits and bravery, gamers will also be able to wield a sword and bow to defeat fierce enemies, break a magical curse and save a kingdom. The video game will release summer 2012, in conjunction with the film.
A third person action-adventure, “Brave: The Video Game” expands the tale beyond the movie’s storyline. Gamers can play as Merida, an expert archer and heroine, and in the console versions, players can also play as other entertaining characters from the film. In addition, they will be able to go on quests through a magical world and solve puzzles to uncover secrets.

The console versions of “Brave: The Video Game” offer a variety of gameplay, including single-player, co-op for family and friends, and a special Bear mode, where players will be able to play as a bear. Several new opponents created exclusively for the game will challenge the player throughout the experience, culminating with an ultimate boss battle to complete the adventure. The Nintendo DS game is filled with its own exciting missions and a myriad of characters to engage single players.
