Adventures By Disney New Itineraries for 2013-2014 ready to book!
Adventures by Disney has announced dates for the brand new Adventures debuting in 2013-2014 and they are now available to book!
Disney will now take you to Scotland for 9 days and 8 nights in 2013. The highlights of your Adventures will take you horseback riding on museum and various exclusive private castle tours. You will visit the Isle of Skye and enjoy a whiskey tasting experience. You will have time to take a stroll on the beautiful beaches of Scotland and visit Kilt Rock. Your Adventure will also take you to Rothiemurchus Estate.
In 2013 and 2014 Disney has revamped it’s Costa Rica Adventure for 7 days and 6 nights. The highlights of this new Adventure include visiting Tortuguero National Park, taking a pineapple plantation tour, ziplining in Arenal National park ( How COOL would that be!?) and an exciting white water rafting experience.
Also new for 2013 and 2014 is an Adventure to Southeast Asia for 10 days and 11 nights. On this Adventure the highlights include taking a cruise along Mekong River, experiencing sunrise Tai Chi with a Tai Chi Master, hiking on Mount Phousi. Continuing its tradition of creating award-winning immersive experiences around the globe, Adventures by Disney announced today an all-new destination for 2013 – Southeast Asia. Featuring Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, the 12-day, 11-night itinerary will give travelers the opportunity to experience some of Asia’s most exotic and culturally-rich cities – including Saigon, Hanoi, Hoi An, Luang Prabang, Siem Reap and Angkor Wat – in a way they may not have thought possible; as a family.
The leader in privately-guided group excursions, Adventures by Disney specially designs its itineraries to engage guests of all ages, providing authentic, hands-on experiences that leave each participant with memories to share and deeper knowledge of the world around them. In Cambodia, adults will have time to take in the unique architecture of the Temples of Angkor Wat while Junior Adventurers live the history of the ancient structure on a tuk tuk vehicle treasure hunt. Families will work together in Laos at an organic rice farm where they will have a hand in each of the 13 stages of rice production. Meal preparation is a team effort in Vietnam where guests will hand-pick ingredients from a Hoi An market, and then learn to make their own Vietnamese delicacies with the guidance of a local chef.

Happy New Year!
The start of the new year always brings about change and on the heels of the “big news” that was announced on New Year’s Eve for Disney parks let’s not forget what Disney Cruise Line is up to in 2012!
So what’s going to be new in 2012?
New ports include New York, Seattle and Galveston and there will be continuing departures from Los Angeles (to the Mexican Riviera) and Port Canaveral (3 and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas).
The newest ship in the Disney fleet, the Disney Fantasy, will leave port for her maiden voyage on March 31. Although the Fantasy is the sister ship to the Dream, there will be all new experiences on board. including “Wishes”, the Muppets Adventure Game, Aqua Lab, Europa, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Animation Magic.
New destinations are also on the horizon for Disney Cruise Line, some old favorites are back as well as new destinations that are bound to become fan favorites.
For the first time ever, The Disney Wonder will set sail on 14 and 15-Night cruises to Hawaii with stops at Hilo, Maui, and Oahu and Kauai.
The Disney Wonder will also embark from Seattle to Alaska with stops at Tracy Arm, Skagway, Junea and Ketchicikan, you can also add Adventures by Disney excursions to your Alaskan cruise to make the most of your time in this beautiful territory.
The Disney Magic will reposition in September and head to Texas for departures from Galveston. The Magic will cruise the Western Caribbean itineraries to Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Costa Maya.
There are 5-night cruises from New York up the New England coast to Canada with stops in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Saint John and New Brunswick. Also departing from New York are 8-night Bahamas cruises-perfect for a land and sea vacation with a visit to Walt Disney World! There are also 2-night weekend getaway cruises from New York for those pressed for time but in need of a vacation.
7-Night Pacific Coast cruises stop in San Francisco and San Diego and offer excursions to famous California landmarks and regions like Sonoma Wine Country.
As previously announced, Disney Cruise Line has cancelled four of it’s December 2012 sailings to the Mexican Riviera and Disney Cruise Line has yet to tell us why. As soon as we have official information from DCL you’ll be the first to know!

Day #2
This day is packed with VIP Hollywood tours starting behind the scenes at The El Capitan Theatre, then head backstage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! You’ll be able to explore the Masonic temple and hear the history and stories behind this historic theatre. Learn how a hit nightly comedy show is produced and the day-to-day excitement that comes with it.
Continue on to the Jim Henson Company Studio Tour and Lunch-In 1917 Charlie Chaplin built this theatre, which is now occupied by the Jim Henson Company. This privately guided VIP tour takes you places no one else can go, see a video history of the company and enjoy lunch in the studio’s private cafe.
Your transportation back to your hotel is an adventure all in itself. A local expert will tell you about Hollywood’s most famous landmarks as you pass.
After a day’s worth of “togetherness” take some time and explore on your own, Adventure Guides are always available with ideas, directions and any information you might need to make your own adventure worry free.
Day #3
You’ll find yourself transported from the glitz and glamor of Hollywood to the art of the show at Disneyland. Settle into Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa for your 3-night stay and explore the magic with Walt Disney Imagineering. See how the resorts and theme-parks were made from the engineers, architects and designers that made it all happen.
Your afternoon continues with lunch at the Walt Disney Studio commissary, a browse through the Studio Store, a lesson on the history of the Walt Disney Studio (via a private tour) and visit the Disney archives!
A welcome reception awaits you at the Wine Cellar and Hook’s Pointe and then enter Disneyland (with priority of course!) and a special VIP experience and have the evening to explore the park on your own.
Day #4
You’ll find there’s more to discover at Disneyland! Start with a hearty breakfast at the Plaza Inn with Minnie and Friends and continue on to a VIP Custom Tour of Disneyland Park; behind the scenes. Learn the history of Walt Disney and his dream backstage at Disneyland!
Enjoy lunch at Cafe Orleans, a part of the park we don’t have at Walt Disney World! The remainder of the afternoon you’ll continue your tour, including a tour of Walt Disney’s Apartment. FastPass service and reserved viewing for the afternoon parade are included. Enjoy the evening exploring Disneyland or Disney’s California Adventure on your own.
Day #5
Start with a character breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen, a privately guided VIP tour of Disney’s California Adventure including a backstage tour of the parks and a private “Turtle Talk with Crush”.
The afternoon is yours to explore the parks and have lunch, a farewell dinner “Finding Nemo” themed is the perfect way to end your adventures!
Day #6
Enjoy your last breakfast together at Storyteller’s Cafe with Chip and Dale and head to the airport!
Yes, this adventure is a bit more costly than your average Disney vacation. The cost per adult is $2,579 and $2,449 for a child. Airfare is not included, however all the things listed above are.
