Are you ready for a Monstrous Summer at Disney World? You can save up to 30% off rooms at select Disney Resort Hotels with a new Disney World discount. This discount runs from June 13-August 14, 2013.

You can book a room only reservation at this Disney World discount or add some extra magic to your room with tickets and/or dining. If you upgrade to a package, you do have to book at least a 4-Day Base ticket.

This Disney World discount does exclude the Little Mermaid rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation, 3-Bedroom Villas, and campsites.

The Value Resorts are a 15% with the exception of All Star Movies, which is only 5% off. Disney Moderate are 20% off with the exception of Port French Quarter and Coronado Springs Resort in the Suites. Deluxe Resorts are 30% with the exception of Villas Wilderness Lodge and the Villas at Animal Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is 20% off and the Villas at Animal Kingdom is 5% off.

With this ticket, you receive admission to one theme park per day on any three days through June 7, 2013. The Discover Disney ticket can be used at any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks and do not have to be used in consecutive days! Is three days not enough for you to experience the magic of Disney World? You can add an extra day for only $10 more plus tax!

You can purchase this special offer from now through June 3, 2013. In order to purchase this ticket, you must provide proof of residency. There are also blackout dates of March 23, 2013 through April 5, 2013.

Honoring Our Heroes

I am fortunate to have close friend’s who are military families. It’s always such an honor for me to help plan their Disney vacations! As such, I’ve become very familiar with the Disney Military Discount Offers. Honoring our Heroes is one way Disney can give back to those that are serving and/or have served. It’s an incredible feeling when I speak to one of our military families to answer any questions. I love being able to help Disney in Honoring our Heroes! It’s truly one of the greatest parts of my job!! I am becoming my own Military Disney Vacation expert, with a lot of help of course.

As we all know, those serving our country don’t get to be home often enough. It’s truly awesome that when they come home for leave that they have time to spend with their families. What could be better than spending that time at Disneyland or Disney World! Disney makes it a real possibility for them all.

I realized though that there may not be a lot of information out there for our heroes and their families on what is available to them. Disney truly wants to Honor Our Heroes, the loyal men and women of all the branches of the military, active and retired, as well as their families. This includes all our heroes in all branches of service, reservists, Coast Guard and National Guard included. There are some ‘rules’ that need to be followed, but none too complicated that I’ve experienced. It’s simply a matter of finding the dates that work and speaking with a Disney Specialist to get you set.
