First Trailer For ‘Delivery Man’, Starring Vince Vaughn

First Trailer For Delivery Man, Starring Vince Vaughn

Vince Vaughn seems to be on a path to a comedic comeback this year. Next month sees his new film, ‘The Internship’, which he co-stars in with his ‘Wedding Crashers’ co-star Owen Wilson, landing. This will be followed by his new film, ‘The Delivery Man’, which opens November 22, 2013. The film stars Vaughn as a man who, after donating years ago at a fertility clinic, has unknowingly fathered 533 children. It sounds like a pretty funny premise, and I’m a fan of Vaughn, I have been going back as far as his roles in films like ‘Swingers’ and ‘Old School’. He’s a great comedic actor, so I’m definitely looking forward to checking this one out.

The film also stars Cobie Smulders, best known for her roles as Robin in ‘How I Met Your Mother’, as well her turn as Maria Hill in ‘The Avengers’, and Chris Pratt, best known for ‘Parks and Recreation’, and who will soon be going into superhero mode in his starring role as Starlord in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. The film features a pretty great cast of comedic talent, so there’s definitely something to look forward to here. Are you excited about ‘Delivery Man’? New Animated Series ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Coming in 2014

New Animated Series Star Wars Rebels Coming in 2014

I was sad to learn that ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’, which has been one of the best additions to the ‘Star Wars’ canon, was coming to an end. It had some of the best storytelling and character development that the ‘Star Wars’ universe had seen while also keeping it alive for fans new and old of the franchise. On the tail of the announcement that the series was ending though, Lucasfilm had announced we’d have another series to take its place. Up until now, it’s only been rumor and speculation on what the new series would be, and thankfully, we now have that answer. Luasfilm has announced ‘Star Wars Rebels’, a new animated series that will premiere in Fall 2014.  Hit the jump for the full press release, as well as a video introduction to the series. Are you excited to see a new animated ‘Star Wars’ series?

Final Trailer for ‘The Lone Ranger’ Revealed

Final Trailer for The Lone Ranger Revealed

We’re in the final stretch coming up on Disney’s release on their newest film, ‘The Lone Ranger’, which opens on July 3, 2013. So this is the time when the marketing goes into overdrive, just to make sure people remember that the film is on the horizon. With that in mind, Disney has released a final trailer for the film, which stars Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp as the popular heroes of The Lone Ranger and Tonto, respectively. Also starring Tom Wilkinson, William Finchter, and Helena Bonham Carter, the film is a new take on the popular pulp duo, as they first come together, and become the men we know them to be. It’s been a long time we’ve had a western on the big screen, so it’ll be great to dive back into the old west. The film is directed by ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ trilogy director Gore Verbinski, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Are you excited for ‘The Lone Ranger’? Let me know in the comments below, and hit the jump for the newest, and final, trailer for the film. [Read more...]

First Full Trailer for Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

First Full Trailer for Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

On Sunday night during the season finale of ‘Once Upon a Time’, Marvel gave us our first look at Joss Whedon and Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ TV series. It was a quick thirty seconds, but it definitely wet my appetite for what’s to come. Now, ABC has released a full three minute trailer for the series, which takes us into what happens after the events of ‘The Avengers’. The best part about all of this, other than that the show looks great, is that Coulson lives again. Clark Gregg returns as the fan favorite character. Just how, we don’t know yet, but knowing Nick Fury is a the master of lies, it doesn’t seem farfetched that he might have faked the death of his right hand man just to get The Avengers to assemble. This is all speculation on my part, but I could definitely see it playing out that way.

Are you excited for ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’? Let me know in the comments below, only here at Chip and Company, and hit the jump to check out the trailer for the series, that will air on Tuesday nights at 8pm on ABC. [Read more...]

Could Dwayne Johnson Join the Marvel Universe?

Could Dwayne Johnson Join the Marvel Universe?

Could Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson be headed to the Marvel Universe? Well, if Marvel’s Studio Head Kevin Feige has anything to say about it, he will. Feige recently went on record on how he’d love to work with the former wrestling icon, and had this to say:

I think yeah, I mean his name has come up in the past. I’m a gigantic fan of his, I think he’s an incredible – I might have met him once a long time ago, but I haven’t really met him. I don’t really know him – but I think he’s an unbelievable personality and an unbelievable sort of force of nature. He’s awesome in Pain & Gain, he was great in G.I. Joe, he’s really kind of an amazing human being. His Twitter’s always cool and he promotes the hell out of everything he does. I would love him to be part of the Marvel universe somewhere, someday.
