Man Plotting to Sell Fake Disney Pins Receives One Year Jail Sentence

A man from Anaheim will be spending some time in jail after pleading guilty to importing $2 million worth of fake Disney pins from China that he had planned to sell online.Robert Edward Smyrak, 52, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to the sale of counterfeit goods and felony manufacturing. Smyrak was also given three years probation and was ordered to pay restitution. Malfunction During Aladdin Stage Show Prompts Evacuation

During yesterday's 4:50PM performance of the popular stage show "Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular" at California Adventure, a cable supporting Aladdin and Jasmine's flying carpet snapped, causing the actors to flip upside-down. One of my favorite parts of the Expo was being able to see "Lion King 3D" before everyone else. "Lion King 3D" will be playing in select theaters for a limited time two week engagement, beginning September 16.
