Disney’s Peter Pan: Diamond Edition coming to Blu-Ray on February 5th!

Watch out everyone! Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and all of the Darling children will be back before you know it! Peter Pan: Diamond Edition is being released on Blu-Ray, Disney DVD, and Digital Copy on February 5th for a limited time! I don’t know right now how long that will be, but you’ll want to mark your calendars so that you’ll be ready to make your purchase!

In case you are wondering why it isn’t being released until next February, the reason became clear when I did a little digging. It turns out that February 5th, 1953 was the date that Peter Pan was released in theaters, so this will be the 60th Anniversary of this incredible movie being released! While you can’t go get the movie just yet, you can enjoy a little tease, so take a look at the trailer and enjoy!

With the release of the Disney Publishing app Dumbo: Disney Classic, Disney Publishing has opened the vault for some special savings! From now until September 26, 2012, you can get Walt Disney’s The Jungle Book app for the low price of $1.99, half off of it’s regularly priced $3.99!

The Jungle Book is built upon many of the same features that Bambi is, but it does have some differences. One nice feature is that you are able to take a picture and put it on the title screen so that you can show who owns the book! Additionally, you can type their name in the “This book belongs to:” section of the page also.

The Disney Publishing Group is at it again, and offering a really good deal on some great interactive books. You may remember seeing that Disney Publishing recently released the Disney Classic Dumbo as an iOS app, working on iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch devices. With that release, they opened up the vault and are offering some great prices on their other Disney Classics, including this one, Bambi! From now until September 26th, you can get the Bambi Interactive Storybook app for $1.99 instead of its normal $3.99 price tag.

From now until September 26th, all of the Disney Publishing “Disney Classics” apps for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch are on sale for the low price of $1.99! These apps normally sell for $3.99, so you are getting a great app for 1/2 off!

In The Jungle Book: Disney Classics app, based on the 1967 animated film, you and your child can relive the story of Mowgli and his friends. You can stare down the tiger Shere Khan and learn about the “unknown” world of humans! With reading modes for all ages, coloring pages, interactive puzzles, memory games, and “The Bare Necessities” sing-along, this app has a lot going for it!
