I’m pestering you again with another question. It’s been officially determined that my fiance and I are getting married at Disney in March. *insert pause here for an excited dance* 😉

My question is this – we plan on staying two nights at Port Orleans, and then for the remainder of the trip, staying at Pop Century to save some money. What’s the best – and most cost-efficient – way of getting from one to the other?

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. What you’re talking about for your honeymoon is a split stay. When you’re done at Port Orleans, just take your luggage down to baggage services (you can also have them come to your room). It’s customary to tip, whether you’re having them come to the room or dropping it off yourself, so you might as well call for it and have them take it down. They’ll give you a claim check. When you reach Pop, you’ll just show it and they’ll give you your luggage from there. It usually takes a few hours. You’ll want to start this process first thing in the morning.

Beyond that, you’ll just need to get yourself over there. You could do one of two things. After you drop off your luggage, just go to the parks and then take the resort bus to Pop or take the Port Orleans bus to Downtown Disney and transfer to Pop from there. You can also take a cab, but you’ll pay at least $15. It’s probably not worth the cost unless you’re pressed for time.
