First Look At Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp in ‘The Lone Ranger’

After hitting quite a few turbulent patches through development, Gore Verbinski’s newest Disney film, ‘The Lone Ranger’, has begun filming. Starring Armie Hammer as the title character and Johnny Depp as his sidekick Tonto, the movie is aimed to hit May 2013. In anticipation of the new movie, Disney has given us our first look at the heroes of the film. Hit the jump for the first photo of our heroes.

From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski comes Disney/Bruckheimer Films’ THE LONE RANGER. Tonto (Johnny Depp), a spirit warrior on a personal quest, joins forces in a fight for justice with John Reid (Armie Hammer), a lawman who has become a masked avenger.

THE LONE RANGER will be released in May 2013.
