Current and past service members are entitled to some pretty great discounts through September 28, 2013. These room and ticket discounts are called the Armed Forces Salute. Here are some of the discounts you can expect and some information to help service members plan their trip!
Rooms at Disney resorts can be reserved for some excellent discounts most nights with the exception of November 22, 2012 through November 24, 2012; December 23, 2012 through December 31, 2012; and March 25, 2013 through April 4, 2013.
Room discounts include 30% Percent off select value resorts including Art of Animation, 35% off select moderate resorts including Fort Wilderness Camp Grounds and 40% off select deluxe resorts. Guests do need to present a valid military ID upon check in.
You can reserve your room by calling Disney directly and asking for the Armed Forces Salute discount or by calling your travel agent who will be glad to assist you in planning your trip from start to finish!
You can add the dining plan on to any military package which is a great way to budget for food while on vacation.
The Armed Forces Salute ticket is a specially priced 4 day park hopper that can only be purchased in only three places. These include your local base office, Shades of Green on Disney Property or a Disney Theme Park Window. You may purchase your ticket in person with a valid military ID. Purchase can only be made by the service member or their spouse. Eligible members of the military can purchase 6 tickets during the Military Salute Offer (Exceptions are made for larger families). The prices of these tickets are as follows:
4 Day Park Hopper – $156.00
4 Day Water Park Fun and More Ticket -$156.001
4 Day Park Hopper with Water Parks Fun and More Option- $184.00
Keep in mind that there is always a Military discount available on tickets if you have already purchased 6 tickets under the Armed Forces Salute Offer.
