Just announced by Adventures by Disney, a new way to immerse yourself in the heart of Europe- River Cruising! Adventures by Disney has teamed up with AmaWaterways, the premier luxury river cruise line, and will offer sailings in 2016 along the Danube River. You will be able to explore world-renowned locations and some not-so-mainstream ones along the way as you visit eight destinations spanning four countries- Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
Each adventure will be 8-days/7-nights and take you off the beaten path as you experience culture, art and unique tales as you learn about each European city and town you visit. Some highlights include:
- Medieval activités at Devin Castle in Bratislava
- Walk along the tree tops in Kopfing
- Visit locations seen through The Sound of Music in Salzburg
- Biking in every port for endless exploration opportunities!
The all-new, 170 passenger AmaViola will be your ship, and AMAWaterways build this one with families in mind. From family-friendly staterooms (which can connect up to six rooms!), as well as rooms that can accommodate three and four people families and other unique details that scream luxury family vacations! And…don’t forget activities! Adults can enjoy wine tasting, music, dancing and the onboard fitness center, along with some of the best cruising and service available! Junior Cruisers can enjoy activity nights, movies, karaoke, relay games, life-sized chess lessons, video games and more. There will also be a special holiday themed sailing, departing on December 22nd, which will include visits to the renowned Christmas markets in Budapest and Vienna, a Vienna Boys Choir Christmas performance in the Homburg Palace Chapel and a special holiday menu lunch.
