The 7D Mine Train App is an adorable adventure for all ages!
The first thing that caught my eye about this app was the adorable dwarfs and the beautiful colors. It pulls you in from the very first screen. Now the app is based off of the new Disney XD show that’s coming soon to TV’s near you! It chronicles the lives of the seven dwarfs but in a whole new way. It’s Sleepy, Dopey, Doc, Sneezy, Bashful, Grumpy and Happy like you’ve never seen them before!
Immediately in the game we see Sleepy who is of course sleeping on him little mine cart on the screen. What I loved bout this was not only how adorable it was but the fact that you could hear his snoring through the audio which added to the adorable overload. The game itself is aimed at kids but as a teenager I still found myself glued to my seat trying to jump and dodge all the breaks in the track and feeling frustrated when I lost.
Now leading up to the premiere of the show you will be able to unlock other dwarfs (which will be adorable if Sleepy is any indication of what’s to come) the game is suitable for all ages in my opinion with a generally easy gameplay. The graphics were amazing and the different rooms you entered really added to the effect of the game and gave an insight into this new world we will soon see on Disney XD.
The game was also generally glitch free which was a relief. It jumped a little at first from graphic to graphic but very little and when actually playing the game and riding through the rooms I didn’t have a problem jumping and moving along at a normal pace. It seems to me this game wasn’t rushed out but done efficiently and correctly before its release onto the App store. Another reminder is that though this is predominately and IPad app it does work on IPod’s as well. I tested this myself and it works great on both which is great if you would rather your child hold your IPod instead of your much bigger and harder to hold IPad.
Overall this game is as adorable as it is addictive! Check it out in the App store now and tune into the premiere of 7D coming soon to Disney XD!
