Walt Disney World has released the first discounts for 2014 and you have two to choose from. Depending on where you are staying and for how long. both of them can be very useful.
The first one.. Stay, Play and Dine
It is not the same as free dining, it is a discount on all three parts of the package. You must book resort room, tickets and dining to be eligible for this discount.

3 Night Minimum Stay Required
Must be booked my Dec. 31st, 2013
Excluded: ALL OF ART OF ANIMATION, Grand Floridian Villas and Campsites
The second one…Room Discount
The discount on the room depends on the level of the resort and is on a scale. Savings for stays most nights 1/5 – 4/12/2014, with some black out dates. Rooms must be booked by Dec. 31st, 2013

We just called our travel agent to check on the Art of Animation 15% family suite discount.
We were told we would have to change our current reservation from the Finding Nemo Suite to either the Lion King Suite or the Cars Suite to get the discount!
I thought it only excluded the Little Mermaid rooms?

I'm registered for the Chip&Co Princess team – will our travel agent automatically check for the better discount, or do we need to call?
How would we go about getting these discounts? By calling Disney after we book our stay?

Usually in the spring to late summer.
Will they come out with discounts for a later part of the year? Like October, maybe? That’s when my family is planning on going, and I’m sure a discount would make them happy. 😉
