Disney Confidential – Special Event planned for Disney World 40th Anniversary

Hey there guys and gals your friendly neighborhood Disney Gossip Columnist Anonymouse here!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. A little birdy told me Chip has only 4 more days till Disney World. I also hear he is going to be doing a Meet n Greet while visiting the parks. Why anyone would want to meet him is beyond me. I hear he is really short and always talks about attending a gun show. I think he tries to draw attention from his shortness by having big arms.

So today’s gossip is talking about all the great and exciting events Disney is doing at Walt Disney World for the 40th Anniversary. What you don’t know about all the events they have planned????

Well your not alone. Not much news has been released as of yet, and I am beginning to wonder if Disney will even acknowledge their birthday.

I did find some interesting news from Disney World’s Twitter account.

“We can’t reveal all the details, but guests at Magic Kingdom can expect special surprises on Oct. 1.”

In other words we are trying to meet the demand in the community why whipping something together at the last minute just to appease fans who like Chip have been complaining that there is nothing going on for the 40th.

So what do you guys think? Do you think Disney has something planned? Or do you think this is a ruse to get people to come to the park to get a button that says, “Happy Birthday” on it? Let me know in the comment box below.

I just spoke with a Disney Cast Member about extending a clients reservation and I said, “So, what kind of things can my clients look forward to on October 1st?” and she said, “well those things are usually left as a surprise but I can tell you if your clients are able to stay October 1st and be in the Magic Kingdom, that would be GREAT”. I want to stow away in their luggage now!

I was there for the 25th anniversary when the castle was changed into a birthday cake. If they do make it a year long celebration, then we will see it in December when we go.

Why wait until Oct 1st , The Official Day. It should be a year long celebration, similar to 15th Year Celebration. I was there for that year’s celebration and thought it was an extended event?! We should get some perks! We are going to be there next week and would like something to bring back, either an item or a memory, of the 40th year Celebration. Seems we’ll be missing out by just a week. Wah,wah, wah!!!

Oh my, I would love to have some special surprise when I’m there! We are going, and will be there on 10/1, and I’m not expecting anything, but that would be awesome if they did do something!
