No matter where you find yourself in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you are somewhere near a snack stop.  Besides their various carts that can be found carrying drinks and snacks there are kiosks throughout the park.  All the kiosks offer Coca-cola soft drinks and bottle water and take snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan.

If you are in the Echo Lake area, your choices are abundant.  Looking for a great ice cream stop? Try the snack kiosk that is probably the easiest to spot eatery in the park: Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction is located, well, in the huge dinosaur right on the lake.  You can find various choices here, but note that it does close seasonally in the colder months.  Nearby at Peevy’s Polar Pipeline you can find some great slushies, as well as other snack options like fruits. If you are looking for a little more substance than Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner has a menu to please.

You will find a the largest variety of snack stops in the Sunset Ranch Market in the Sunset Blvd area of the park.  Here you can stop for a quick snacks at Anaheim Produce or Hollywood Scoops.  If that’s still not what you are after, don’t fear.  Fairfax Fare offers heartier choices and Rosie’s All American Cafe is the stop for an American favorite: burgers!  Also on the strip of eatery choices on Sunset Blvd, Catalina Eddie’s is open for lunch and dinner.  This popular stop features pizza, hot subs, and salads.  There are also a couple snack/dessert choices offered.  And you can’t forget the infamous Disney World turkeys legs that you can pick up at Toluca Legs Turkey Co.  You can also pick up chips or cookies right outside Rockn’ Rollercoaster at KRNR The Rock Station.

As if that isn’t enough to please any palate there are even more kiosks around Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Nestled between The Backlot Tour and the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area you will find Studio Catering Company.  Here they offer snack and counter service choices.  The best reason to stop here, in my opinion, is the drinks.  There are also dessert and snack choices as well as a couple sandwich and salad offerings.  Similar to Studio Catering Co, is the Backlot Express which offers similar snack and coutner service options.  Backlot is located between two Lucas Arts favorites: Star Tours and Indiana Jones.  It is themed like a studio backlot and has plenty of seating.

Last, but certainly not least, is the newest snack stop in the park: Hey Howdy Hey Take Away, located in Pixar Place. Here you can pick up drinks, chips, popcorn, and a few ice cream choices.  A great stop before heading over to the surely long lines at Toy Story Midway Mania!
