A Central Florida man is accused of using the Xbox live gaming system to download child pornography and solicit at least one boy to send nude photos of himself in exchange for online points.

Polk County sheriff’s detectives arrested Timothy Wayne Hammerstone, 22, of Polk City, on 16 counts of possession of child pornography Thursday night.

Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger confirmed Friday night that Hammerstone is a former employee at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

“He is no longer with the company,” said Finger, who declined give specific details about when Hammerstone’s employment ended.

“We don’t tolerate this type of behavior,” Finger said. Hammerstone had told deputies he worked at the AMC movie theater in the Downtown Disney area.

Polk County detectives received information from police in Folsom City, Calif., on Wednesday about a boy living in their city who was solicited online via the Xbox video game system by a Polk County man.

The boy told police the man offered to pay him in Microsoft Online points, which are redeemable via the Xbox system, in exchange for nude photos of himself, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
